Welcome to our new Recycled Hessian Rustic Art Range!

The items in this section are not only made from recycled hessian, but they are also made using frames that have been recycled.  Each piece is created with a cardboard underlay which makes these little artworks perfect as jewellery or note pinboards. 

These artworks are created by hand stencilling onto recycled hessian and then stretched on timber frames.  There is consistency in the overall design, however each piece is handmade which means that there are nuances in the hessian grain, and in the hand stencil.

This item shown is stretched around a timber frame and secured at the back.  Hence it looks like a block print.  Can be leant up against a shelf or you could hang it if you prefer.

BABY

Hand stencilled onto the artwork is the word LOVE with the word broken into 2 parts.  LO on the top and VE on the bottom.

The hessian is a rustic earth colour and the stencil of the word LOVE is in antique white.

(In the sample image it shows the block print inside a frame- ths is a great idea if you prefer a frame and they can be picked up fairly inexpensively from thrifty stores.  Frame not supplied with this block print)
