Great idea to create a custom travel artwork. Make one for yourself- or it is a fantastic gift. We have been involved in designing these for wedding presents, as anniversary presents and most commonly as birthday presents.
To be honest- it doesn't just have to be places travelled. It is any place- it can be suburbs, cities or countries you have lived in, streets lived in, landmark places, iconic events. Originally this style of canvas artwork comes from the bus and tram
scrolls from yesteryear, but has become a very cool way of designing
words that mean something to you!
This particular style we design with all the words horizontal, and we design with variation between smaller and larger words and about 3 different fonts. It is a striking design and fits in with all different decor styles.
You can choose your own words for your custom canvas. Our designers are excellent typography designers- and we will work to create an awesome balance between your personal taste and long lasting design. Our canvases are full colour prints so you can choose any background colour, and word colour. Your words can be in multiple shades of colour to create a beautiful mixed colour design or you can keep it simple.
WHERE TO START? Everyone has such different requirements, that we do not offer online templates. After we receive your custom order we will email you a design brief. You can then provide your words, the colours you like and other detail about the importance of the words. At this stage you can also discuss any unique sizing or shipping requirements.
HOW MANY WORDS?
For this travel scroll style design it depends on what size you order as to how many words we can use. As a very rough guide we can take up to 25 words on average for sizes up to 90 x 60. Maybe up to 35 on a 120 x 80 and up to 40 on a 150 x 80. We really need to see the list of words before we can confirm. Some people have all short places, other people have all long places.
Have a think if your list of words needs to be in order or if we can mix it up to suit the design, and what words are more important than others. When we do email you with a request for the words, you will be all ready to go.
Our Process: You place order online. We contact you via email to obtain your words, colour ideas and style ideas. We then create a mock up. This mock up will be emailed to you. We work with you to get feedback and make edits to the design until it is perfect. Once approved we go into print production.
Our process is unique because we individually design every canvas in consultation with you.
We only print on 100% authentic cotton canvas at 330gsm in weight. This is a rich and luxurious canvas that holds the colours with amazing depth and they look simply stunning on the wall. If you order a stretched canvas, they are stretched on a gallery wrap frame and are ready to hang.

ONLINE: Order online and pay by Credit Card or Bank Transfer. We can take orders from any country but WE ONLY SHIP STRETCHED CANVASES TO AUSTRALIA. We can ship unstretched canvases overseas no problem.
ONLINE ORDER PROCESS:
- Use the buttons that say ADD TO CART on each item.
- Click on the ADD TO CART button and the item will be added to your shopping cart.
- When you are ready to purchase, check all the items you want are in the cart, and proceed to checkout.
- You can make payment using bank transfer or credit card.

BANK TRANSFER?
We are happy to accept bank transfers. Please contact us for account details or proceed to checkout for details as once you place your order the details will be in the shopping cart.
EMAIL ORDERS?
Email orders are accepted, however please do not email us your credit card details. We will contact you about payment once your order is received. To order by email, send us the details of the products you would like (product code, size).
Our shipping options are related to the products ordered.
STRETCHED CANVASES
We only send stretched canvases within Australia. If the size of the stretched canvas is UNDER 90cm x 60cm then it will be sent via Australia Post. If the product is OVER 90cm x 60cm, the product will be sent via courier.
ALL OTHER ITEMS
For all items rolled including unstretched canvas/ removable vinyl and A3 art prints, these can be sent via Australia Post regular mail to both Australia and overseas.
If you would like to collect the order from our studio in St Leonards, NSW then this can be arranged upon making an appointment. Let us know during ordering and we can arrange.
If your order is a custom order and you are sending it as a gift- let us know in the “notes about the order” section during checkout- this way we can converse with you as to what will work best for the delivery of your product.
FAIRNESS IN POSTAGE PRICING
We are not trying to make money out of our postage, and we do our best to give you cost prices for Australia Post orders. We review every order when it arrives, and if we can do your postage for less we will always try and then we can refund that amount.
This is particularly the case for orders where you might order multiple products. We will always look for ways to combine shipping and then refund you.
Stretched Canvas Artwork
Our canvas artworks are printed on high quality cotton canvas using rich inks which print solid blacks and vibrant colours. The canvas is then stretched on a wonderful 3cm deep frame and has a string for hanging. The stretched canvases are then packed in a sturdy box for shipping.
UN Stretched Canvas Artwork- rolled in a tube
The canvas artworks that are sold unstretched are perfect for shipping overseas. They can then be stretched by a local picture framer and save on huge OVERSEAS shipping costs. (Please note in Australia you would pay between $70 and $120 to stretch a canvas)
Other options for the unstretched canvas artworks are to pin them on the wall or hang like a scroll.
Re-positionable Woven Vinyl Wall Art
A high tech repositionable wall vinyl which has a woven texture and can be re-used over and over again. Perfect for creating a seamless wall mural in smaller or larger sizes. Self adhesive and no glue required it is easily installed by non professional installers.
Hessian Artworks
This style of artwork is handmade on a rustic hessian material. It has a very broad weave and is similar in its make to a coffee bean bag or the hessian used in gardening. The only way to create these is by hand stencilling the lettering, and although very time consuming, the result is spectacular.
